Every home has those “in-between” spaces — the spots you pass through quickly, but that set the tone for your entire home. For this project, we took three small but mighty rooms — the front vestibule, powder room, and sunroom — and gave each a distinct personality while keeping the overall flow cohesive and inviting.
The Front Vestibule: Small Space, Big Welcome
This tiny entry was once dark and forgettable — more of a pass-through than a first impression. We infused it with color, light, and function to make it sing. The floor is now a fun patterned marble and the walls have a lovely wallpaper that coordinates with the adjacent rooms.
This tiny closet was NOT living up to its fullest potential. We added a double hanging bar for even more coat storage, as well as shelves for all the practical winter items, like hats and gloves.
A fresh palette, updated lighting, and thoughtful accessories now greet guests with warmth and style. It’s proof that even the smallest spaces can make a huge impact when every detail counts!
The Powder Room: A Jewel Box Moment
Powder rooms are where we love to have fun, and this one was no exception. What was once a simple, dated space is now a showstopper.
We stuck with classic tile that is period appropriate for this century home. White porcelain wall tile and marble hex floor tile provide a grounded, traditional feel, while the wallpaper turns the design WAY up!
Pattern, texture, and a punch of personality turned this bathroom into a true jewel box — the kind of space that makes guests smile (and maybe linger a little longer).
The Sunroom: Bright, Breezy, and Bold
This sunny corner of the home was ready for a glow-up. We layered in comfort, color, and a little modern polish to make it a spot you actually want to spend time in.
Soft peach walls play beautifully against deep blue chairs. A sculptural floral chandelier adds whimsy, and custom floral roman shades bring the whole look to life. It’s cheerful, sophisticated, and the perfect place for morning coffee or afternoon catch-ups.
Bringing It All Together
Each room tells its own story, but together, they reflect a cohesive, thoughtful design vision — one that celebrates color, light, and the joy of everyday spaces. Because when every corner of your home feels intentional and beautiful, it changes how you live in it.
