This primary bedroom went through quite the makeover, turning from a dark and heavy space into a cozy, stylish retreat.
Before
The room was all dark gray walls, which made everything feel smaller and kind of weighed down. The iron bed that should’ve been a statement piece just blended into the background. Plus, the mix of mismatched furniture added to the cluttered vibe.
After
We lightened things up with a beautiful Morris & Company wallpaper on the feature wall behind the bed. It adds a subtle pop without being too in-your-face, making the bed finally stand out. Swapping the gray for a soft, neutral wall color instantly brightened the room.
To bring in some color, we went with blue accents in the Roman shades and area rug.
A new white wardrobe and newly painted radiator cover not only give extra storage but also make the room feel more put-together.
Now, it’s a blend of classic charm and modern touches—a relaxing, inviting space perfect for winding down.
