We recently transformed our client’s bedroom from a simple, uninspired space into an elegant and inviting retreat!

Before: Bare and Basic
The room had basic sheer curtains that let in light but lacked color and personality. The shelves around the fireplace were empty and underutilized, missing the chance to be a focal point. The room generally felt unfinished, with minimal decor creating a stark, unwelcoming vibe.
After: Elegant and Inviting
We added blue and white patterned drapes that bring a vibrant pop of color, framing the windows beautifully and adding elegance. These are traversing drapes, which mean they actually close. Our clients had issues with this room being too cold in the winter, and the added insulation of the lined drapes really helped keep the temperature up.
We styled the shelves with books, decorative pieces, and framed photos, transforming the fireplace wall into a stunning focal point. Our clients already owned a few of the items, but most were from a large home goods store nearby.
We also added fun blue and white lamps and new bedding with soft pink accents to complete this mini makeover.
