Each year, the Hudson Home & Garden Tour offers a rare opportunity to step inside some of the area’s most beautiful homes while supporting meaningful causes within our community. This beloved tradition has become much more than a home tour—it is a celebration of design, hospitality, volunteerism, and philanthropy.

This year, Lindsey’s home was selected as one of the featured properties, an honor that carries tremendous significance. The Home & Garden Tour Committee thoughtfully curates each year’s homes, selecting residences that showcase exceptional design, craftsmanship, and character. Being chosen is both a privilege and a testament to the years of care, creativity, and dedication that homeowners invest in their spaces.

While visitors see the finished result during tour weekend, countless hours of planning happen behind the scenes. The Home & Garden Tour Committee works tirelessly throughout the year to coordinate every detail, from homeowner selection and logistics to volunteer management and fundraising efforts. Their commitment transforms the event into a seamless experience for thousands of attendees, and their passion for preserving this treasured community tradition is evident in every aspect of the tour.

One of the most memorable elements of this year’s event was the stunning floral design throughout the homes. The fresh arrangements brought every room to life, highlighting architectural details, furnishings, and carefully curated spaces. The flowers added another layer of beauty to an already inspiring experience and reflected the incredible talent and creativity of everyone involved in the event’s preparation.

Of course, opening a home to hundreds of visitors would not be possible without an extraordinary team of volunteers and hostesses. We are deeply grateful to every hostess who generously gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm throughout the tour. Their warm welcomes, guidance, and hospitality helped create an exceptional experience for every guest who walked through the door.

We would like to extend a particularly heartfelt thank you to Lindsey’s mother, mother-in-law, and best friend, who dedicated multiple days of service leading up to and during the event. From preparations behind the scenes to welcoming guests throughout the tour, their unwavering support, countless hours, and willingness to help wherever needed made a tremendous difference. Their generosity exemplifies the spirit of community that makes this event so special.

Beyond the beautiful homes, exquisite gardens, and inspiring design ideas, the true impact of the Hudson Home & Garden Tour lies in its charitable mission. Year after year, the event raises meaningful funds that are reinvested into organizations and initiatives that strengthen the Hudson community. The tour serves as a reminder that design can do more than create beautiful spaces—it can bring people together and make a lasting difference.

As we reflect on this year’s tour, we are filled with gratitude. Gratitude for the committee members who make the event possible, the volunteers who give so generously of their time, the talented floral designers who added so much beauty, and the visitors who support the cause by attending.

Most of all, we are reminded that a home is more than walls, furnishings, and finishes. It is a place where memories are made, relationships are nurtured, and communities come together. We are honored to have been a small part of this year’s Hudson Home & Garden Tour and grateful for the opportunity to share our home in support of such a meaningful tradition.
