Lindsey Putzier is an award-winning interior designer based in Hudson, Ohio, who is committed to truly personalized design. She believes that a home should be a reflection of its owners and the items that matter to them. There is no cookie cutter approach when working with Lindsey. Be ready to hear “why” and “why not” in frequent intervals, as she explores your personal likes and dislikes.
Lindsey’s extensive knowledge of luxurious and detailed design elements, custom furniture and window treatments, and antiques, will come together to create a timeless design that will feel fresh and personal – not just for a year or two, but for decades to come.
Her inquisitive mentality has always been part of Lindsey’s story. A graduate (with honors) from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, she also studied Interior Design at the New York Institute of Art & Design and is a Certified True Color Expert. Lindsey also double-majored in French and lived in Paris. Her taste level is tres, tres chic.
Lindsey’s finger is always on the pulse of current design trends, but her design philosophy places more importance on personal aesthetic. As she always says, “Trends only matter if they look good to you!” Lindsey’s expertise, multifaceted aesthetic, and personal approach to design leaves no stone unturned. She creates an upscale, eclectic, original design that is both unique and uniquely you.
In addition to Paris, Lindsey has lived in two different historic cities so naturally, she is obsessed with the fine details and elegant intricacies of all things vintage and antique – pieces that have their own heart and soul. If you start chatting about the texture of a bone inlay cabinet or the hand-loomed pattern of a Persian rug, be ready for a rich and fervent conversation about all the minutiae that make them special.
Blue is Lindsey’s favorite color, but what is yours? As a Certified True Color Expert, Lindsey can open your eyes to the kaleidoscopic wealth of options beyond beige and gray. With Lindsey’s guidance, you’ll have a newfound confidence adding color to your home.
Engaging with the world and keeping herself inspired is integral to who Lindsey is. Her commitment to curiosity means that she’s never afraid to tackle a new challenge – in fact, as an adult, she’s learning to play the piano! What design challenge can she tackle with you?
